Hi Rachel,
Here’s a bit of advice. You may not want life advice today. I watched one of your rant videos and your latest movie was not as well received as you hoped. Now what are you going to do, moving forward?
Well, the news is people won’t like you. The reason I’m even writing this is because you are a woman, as I am, and I care. Not that I agree with you or approve of your ways. I just want to say a couple of things.
#1. Pull yourself together. Put on some make-up. Put on a smile. Remember your style.
#2. Don’t sh*T on other people. It’s not a good look on you. You want to be a generous, gracious person.
#3. You probably have a lot of other good movies ahead of you. Just a little secret. The haters don’t hate you as much as the message. They want to see a confident woman, not an image.
#4. Roughly half of the population is male. You don’t want to offend half of the world. And the other half mostly want to fall in love with a man. So you don’t want to offend them either.
#5. Be a classy lady who can brush off rejection. Don’t attack. Draw from your inner strength and hold your head up a bit higher.
#6. I heard that Snow White was supposed to be about empowerment for women. Empowerment doesn’t come by trampling on others. It comes by lifting others up.
#7. Secretly you might want that prince to fall in love with you. Guess what? He’s out there and it’s OK to wish for him.
#8. Don’t give away that part of yourself, publicly, that you don’t want people to see.
#9. Don’t pretend it doesn’t matter, because it does. And it hurts. But you can rise above it.
#10. You’re not that special. Nobody is.
