At first I kept saying Hanoi instead of Hoi An, but Hanoi is in the north of Vietnam while Hoi An is central. Hoi An is where we are currently staying.
We enjoyed a refreshing drink at Hoi An Coffee Roastery 1 where I took these two photos from the second floor just before sunset.
We had come from the market and a stop at the museum of the famous photographer, Rehan.
He photographs indigenous peoples and the museum also contains a collection of original clothing worn by the subjects.
We also took in a museum of local art where photographs were not allowed although I took a picture of a shrine inside.
As you can tell the sights and colors are a feast for the eyes.
“Hoi An Ancient Town” is fascinating with its narrow streets and “ancient” architecture. I particularly enjoy weaving through the side alley-ways only wide enough for a motorbike or a bicycle to pass.
Next, I’ve made a collection of photos of the market.
